New Things

I've been working on some new things for Elliot to play with.

A fabric icosahedral star.

A lightweight baby containment unit for taking with us to the Bahamas (the pack n play is just too huge and heavy to take on the plane). I think we'll just use it for occasional baby containment, but not necessarily for sleeping. It's made of PVC, mesh, and an old sheet.

I also made an interactive fabric book, but don't have a photo of it yet.

Got this fun toy at goodwill yesterday. Elliot seems to like it.

Brush, Brush your teeth (or Mom's if you don't have any)

Elliot has taken an interest in toothbrushes, especially if one is in mom's mouth. They make great chew toys.

1st time at the park

Elliot had his first solo swing ride. He seemed to be ambivalent about it. We'll try again next week. Both Mom and Dad agree: swings are fun! So we hope Elliot will eventually enjoy them too. It seems that sitting in the wood chips was his favorite part of going to the park.

And he's mostly sitting up on his own now, with an occasional tipping over.
