Standing Up

Standing up on his own (with support)!

Picnic in the Park

This gorgeous early spring weather is perfect for picnics in the park with friends. Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon playing with Elliot's friends Greta, Danny and Samuel (and moms: Caroline, Aviva and Daniela).
It's an overalls type of day.
Sharing a toy with Samuel.

Reverse

Elliot is getting the hang of locomotion.
So far, he has reverse, but has not discovered forward gear yet.
Consequently, he tends to get stuck under furniture, then can't get out!
And he seems to get stuck in the same locations over and over, even when I start him out in different parts of the room.

We're in trouble now.

In His Own Room

Last night (our first night back from our trip), Elliot went to bed in his own room for the first time ever. He slept well the whole night, waking up at 6:00am.

I had been worried about having him in the back room (our only other room) at night in the winter because it's the coldest room in the apartment (and hottest in summer). I went in to check on him (his body temp) at least 3 times throughout the night. He seemed warm enough with the wool hat, fleece sleeper, fleece sleep sack, and light fleece blanket, plus the temp didn't wake him up. So I guess he sleeps warm (takes after me, it seems.)

On our trip, Elliot slept in bed with us (between us so he wouldn't roll off). He is quite the kicker. He also liked to rotate sideways, so that his kicky end was pointed towards me while his flappy parts (arms) were pointed at Chris.

A Few Bahamas Photos

I put up many photos on facebook, and since it's so slow to upload photos here, I'll just add a tasting for those who aren't on FB.
Elliot's eyes are the same color as the water!
