merry go round with classic animals! Elliot wasn't so sure at first, but got the hang of it quickly

Yesterday on our way home from a hike, we stopped at a state park that has a beach along a lake. But it was closed to swimming, so we ended up at a nearby park. The park turned out to have an amazing playground, with rides that I didn't think existed anymore in the US (liability and such as it is). Spinning things, merry go rounds, teeter totters, high climbing structures. It was only missing a 20ft tall slide to make it complete. Elliot enjoyed some of these rides.

Water Monkey

Elliot loves water, all kinds. In the mornings, he usually spends Chris's shower time poking his head behind the curtain into the shower and getting a little splashed. This morning he went farther and climbed into the shower with Chris. Morning bath time!

This afternoon, E and I went to a park with a fun water feature: geysers, fountains, water canons and bubbling jets that you can play in and control. Elliot loved it. We both got wet, which felt great in the 90F heat.
